Below I've tried to put together a list of some general questions you may have regarding my work and/or in hiring me for your project. If any of your questions remain unanswered, please feel free to contact me here.
1. So, why film scoring?
Honestly, the inspiration really started when I was just a kid, about 4-5 years old. My two favorite childhood movies were Disney's The Lion King and Dreamwork's Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, both of which were scored by Hans Zimmer, as I later discovered. I just remember thoroughly enjoying the music and thoroughly enjoying the stories, and from an early age I think I understood the importance music played in the role of storytelling. As I explored more and began writing my own pieces, I found that it was natural for me to write cinematic style music. Eventually I started getting into recording, and later I formed a band with my brother and sister. After a period of amazing musical and personal growth, it just hit me really hard, and I discovered where my passion was. For me, I get so much fulfillment out of scoring to film, it's pretty difficult to describe. I just know I really love it, so I'm pursuing what I love.
2. How much musical experience do you have/how long have you been doing this?
I've been playing the piano for over ten years, and since then I started writing my own pieces. In 2011 I started recording them. Between now and then I've done several piano recitals, performed all across the Mid Atlantic region in a band with my brother and sister. I produced, recorded, and edited our band's debut album, and went to the Gaylord Palms Resort in Florida to participate in a national convention called SHINE through the talent agency AMTC. I've traveled to Nashville several times, and recorded an EP with a producer there that helped launch my sister's solo career.
3. What equipment do you use?

DAW (Digital Audio Workstation): Logic Pro X
Audio Interface: Focusrite Scarlett 2i4
Studio Monitors: KRK Rokit 5 G3’s
Headphones: Audio-Technica ATH-M50x

4. Why should I choose you for my project?
As a director/producer your primary objective in hiring a composer you don't want someone who is going to push their own agenda - you want someone who is going to help carry out the story, and that's exactly my goal with every project I've worked on. I can tell you that I am easy to work with, that I have an unmistakable passion for music and creativity, that I have a good feel for music, versatility, a crazy work ethic and very high standards for my work. But regardless of all those traits, it really does come down to your preference in music and what you feel will fit your project, so please be sure to check out what I have available to listen to here and please don't hesitate to contact me.
This isn't really something I can answer generally, as it varies for every project. Please contact me here to tell me more about your project and I can give you a more specific answer (no worries, contacting me won't cost you anything).
6. Where do you reside/do you work with people outside your state?
I'm currently a university student at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand, but my home is in Virginia, USA. Through means of social media, Dropbox, Google Drive, Skype, and other various forms of online technology I am able to work with clients who don't exactly live down the street. :)
